Since all/most of Glee’s characters are deconstructions of stereotypes, I wanted to make a list for myself of the tropes they embody. Uhm, of course there are multiple tropes in each and every character and storyline, but I’m trying to go for the main cliché that they descontruct in the characters.

Finn can be an asshole and a clod.  And his recent shit re: Brody and Rachel is a hot mess of not okay.  But reminder why fandom should stop writing him off.  Finn does growth, and sometimes I think that bothers fandom more than if he didn’t, because that’s harder, to accept that people can change and improve and also remain flawed because there’s just so much fucking work to do.
